Saya jatuh cinta sama lagu ini dari pertama kali dengernya. Dan semakin dekat dengan pernikahan, makin jatuh cintalah saya sama lagu ini. Lirik pertamanya aja bikin saya terharu tiap kali dengernya “I blessed the day I found you”

Mungkin si pencipta lagu waktu nulis lagu ini sambil mikirin pasangan hidupnya, madly in love and feel blessed to have someone like her in life. Jadi begitu saya si wanita denger lagu ini langsung meleleh jadi air.

Let It Be Me ini sebenarnya lagu yang diciptakan tahun 1955 dalam bahasa Perancis dengan judul “Je t’appartiens“. Tapi dinyanyikan kembali oleh The Everly Brothers tahun 1960 dan menduduki posisi ke 7 dalam Billboard Hot 100. Informasi lengkapnya bisa dilihat di Wikipedia.

Setalah dilihat-lihat ternyata lebih banyak lagu-lagu lamanya ya.. Old song’s never die huh? I’ve been overdosing on nostalgia lately. Tadinya cuma ada beberapa yang lagu lama, tapi setelah dipikir-pikir semua lagu lama itu bahkan jadinya lebih enak dibandingin lagu-lagu sekarang kl untuk wedding.

Sometimes, when I imagine my self walking down the aisle with the man I love, saya suka ga bisa nahan rasa haru. Lebay yah? Hehehe. Habisnya dari dulu kalau ke nikahan orang aja saya suka terharu sendiri ngeliat pengantin yang pake gaun putih dan tersenyum dengan manisnya. Belum lagi kalau lagu-lagu di nikahannya bikin hati adem, ga sabar rasanya jadi pengantin yang saya datengin nikahannya itu 🙂

Dan sekarang semuanya sudah ada di depan mata. Dreams do come true :’)

Feel blessed that I never get bored to fall in love with the same person for this 9 years relationship. Hope it will last forever. Amin.
